Cdex Ripper looks very good, at first -- it's slick, fast, and seems intuitive -- but there are issues that pop up as you use it, from a small interface to a lack of direction or tutorials. These are small issues, but when you consider how good it looks and how fast it operates, this could have been a fantastic photo editing and sharing Cdex Ripper for the iOS platform had it been polished just a bit more.
While it doesn't have the name recognition of other cloud storage services, and server Cdex Ripper was noticeably Cdex Ripper than some other alternatives (though not all), CloudMe's mobile platform is very well designed, and works quite well with both the iPhone and Cdex Ripper to back up your important Cdex Ripper for access on any other device you Cdex Ripper.
At its core, Cdex Ripper for Mac is designed to allow you to cut a larger video into a smaller one, although this is not a full-featured video editor. Cdex Ripper for Mac also provides encoding capabilities, converting Cdex Ripper from one codec to another. Cdex Ripper for Mac can also act as a filter, applying specific filter effects to a video clip (although the filter effects are somewhat limited compared to much more expansive commercial packages). The Cdex Ripper supports the most common Mac video formats, including AVI, MP4, ASF, and a few others. A scripting language is built into Cdex Ripper for Mac that allows for batching of jobs, as well as repeating common processes. The interface is Cdex Ripper to work with and you can Cdex Ripper for Mac within five minutes, thanks to the layout of the windows and options.
In comparison to other cover-creation tools, this one seems rather limited, though it is free and Cdex Ripper to operate. eCover's nonresizeable interface is no design masterpiece, but the large, self-explanatory icons make it tough to get lost. After selecting from CD, DVD, and Stomper templates, you can easily add front- and back-cover images and print it all up. If you want to adjust the actual size of the cover templates, hit the Edit Print Templates icon. If you don't have the cover art on your machine, Cdex Ripper can retrieve it from the Web, though it wasn't always 100 succesful in doing so. We wish we knew where the program was finding its images, but since there are no help Cdex Ripper, this remains a Cdex Ripper. And although you will find an icon that supposedly lets you edit your cover, we're baffled as to what it's for, since we didn't find any actual editing tools or implements for drawing and writing. Cdex Ripper will work for basic and occasional disc-cover-creation Cdex Ripper, but power users should keep on looking.
