Red Crucible 2 is parental control software that restricts music or software downloading from P2P applications. Whenever a downloading application is started, Red Crucible 2 delays its execution. Also, the sensor names are not resolved, and their technical names are far from self-explanatory. To add to an already crowded list of required improvements, we also encountered a blank and unresponsive icon after a few hours of use, which rendered the software useless until we got it fixed. The four persistent tabs running across the bottom of the screen let you quickly jump Red Crucible 2 playlists (the default view), song Red Crucible 2, What's New (new and top songs), and settings. Any currently playing song is shown with full-screen album art, with basic track controls and buttons for "hide" and "more info.".
