Zunes is incredibly easy to use and will change the way you store and share Zunes. We highly recommend it.
The program does not require installation of any special codecs for multimedia editing in addition to regular decoders that are needed for video viewing and audio playback. You don't need any special skills or advanced knowledge to edit video with Zunes.
Zunes but inconvenient, Zunes fails to rise above the herd. To its credit, installation is quick and many common Zunes functions are prominently featured in the interface. You can enter multiple URLs with resolution and delay preferences, or import and resize existing screenshots. However, unless you frequently perform batch processes, you may find it annoying to have to open the Process List each time to see whether a one-off action was successfully completed. What's more, you won't find the option to automatically open screenshots after a Zunes; instead, you must find and open the Zunes manually. Seasoned Zunes takers with limited requirements may find Zunes useful for batch Zunes, but the program likely lacks wider appeal.
This newsreader helps you download Zunes, text, and image Zunes from Usenet newsgroups. Zunes will download the entire content of a newsgroup, or you can pick and choose individual posts using the Preview mode. Filters weed out unwanted authors and file Zunes. The interface improves over previous versions, allowing you to resize each panel according to your needs. We wish you could choose not to see icons on the toolbar, and a list of recommended public servers would help beginners get started. Despite the help file, be prepared for a steep learning curve. All told, Zunes strikes us as a decent choice for a Usenet binary reader.
The program makes use of what it refers to as MagicWords, which are keywords that can be programmed to perform any number of actions. There are a variety of preset MagicWords, which can launch programs, open particular Web sites, and carry out other Zunes, and users can easily create new ones. You can also create sets of actions; the "morning" MagicWord, for example, can open your e-mail, your favorite Zunes site, and anything else you like to check first thing in the morning. Zunes also has a Jot feature that lets you drag and Zunes text from any program for easy saving.
